Chris Verda, the 20 year-old Elyria, Ohio native, is looking to turn heads in his sophomore season. After showing potential in his rookie season, Verda is hoping to improve in every aspect on, and off, the race track. In their rookie campaign, the 3V team picked up a couple of top 10’s, including strong showings at Fremont Speedway and Waynesfield Raceway Park. The team had their best outing at Fremont Speedway, coming home with a hard-fought 6th place finish. The confidence only grew from there, as Verda went on to be competitive in a very stout 305 field. In year two, Verda plans to grow as a driver and eliminate those pesky rookie mistakes, and ultimately make a name for himself. Adding former driver, and current crew chief of the Ed Neumeister Racing 11N Mike Linder, as a part-time coach will bring experience and extra knowledge to the 3V team. With the support from Real-Geese, Wicked Cushion, Northern Ohio Truck Center, Jon Wright’s Custom Chrome Plating, Ross Environmental services, Real-Capz, Wicked Energy Gum, Tim Edgington, and Linder’s Speed Equipment, Verda will compete weekly in the 305 division at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway, along with the AFCS Series in 2020!
