Retiring from full-time NASCAR competition in 2018, Kasey Kahne will return to his roots in 2019 by competing in over 50 sprint car events across the country. An accomplished NASCAR driver, his 15-year career saw him in victory lane 18 times in the Cup Series, eight times in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and five times in the NASCAR Gander Mountain Outdoor Series.
Dirt track fans know that Kasey started in dirt sprint cars at age 14 before jumping at the chance to drive for Evernham Motorsports in 2004.
The Kasey Kahne Racing team was formed in 2005 and employs more than 12 people dedicated to fielding sprint car entries in the World of Outlaws series for himself and 2018 Knoxville Nationals Champion, Brad Sweet. KKR has won over 170 WoO feature events, including a championship in 2013.
In his personal life, Kahne became a father to son Tanner in October 2015. To relax, the driver enjoys working outdoors and maintaining the property around his home near Charlotte and spending time with Tanner.
