New York, NY (March 23, 2019) – Wicked Cushion, LLC announced today that it has partnered with Sprint Car legend and former NASCAR driver Dave Blaney to form a new eSports racing team called DB Racing Sim Team with Wicked Cushion. Wicked Cushion continues to grow its eSports platform to include this third eSports team that competes in various racing series on iRacing.com simulation platform.
We believe that by introducing dirt track gaming and simulation competition to wider audiences by leveraging the name recognition of drivers like Dave Blaney is a great way to provide companies and their brands a unique way to market to a specific demographic. Many people recognize the name Dave Blaney for the years he spent in highest levels of NASCAR competition, but for many Dave is known for his hall of fame career on dirt. Dave Blaney is a World of Outlaws series champion, a USAC Silver Crow champion, a Knoxville Nationals champion, a two-time Kings Royal winner, a Historical “Big One” winner, a Chili Bowl Nationals champion, a Gold Cup champion and an inductee to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.
