How Coaching Sessions Work:
You bring you’re ‘A’ game, and we'll bring ours.
You book a session through our online scheduling system just as you would an appointment to get your oil changed and ‘show up’ by calling in from wherever you are.
After a quick getting-to-know you chat, we’ll talk about why you’re really here – what’s working in your program and what’s not. If you come with a specific question, we’ll address that together. Over the course of the call, we’ll determine a direction for your business or team to move forward with, whether that’s overhauling the whole structure or focusing on a few small areas to tweak.
It’s up to you what and how much we can cover in each session.
Your sponsorship proposal isn’t just a sponsorship proposal. It’s what fuels you and your marketing program. If you have a great foundation to start with, a proposal review can take you from here to where you want to be.
Starting from scratch? Check out our full-service proposal offerings.
Have an existing marketing proposal that you'd like to take to the next level? A proposal review will give you the boost you need to feel confident sliding that sponsorship deck across the table from a sponsor you'd love to work with.
How Proposal Reviews Work:
A proposal review is a four-step process completed over two days:
First, we’ll jump on a 20-30-minute call to get to know you and the marketing partner you’re pitching. We'll make sure we understand who you are as a person, and what your goals are for your race team and the potential partnership.
Next, you’ll send your existing proposal so we can see what you’re working with.
Over the course of your designated day, we’ll review the proposal. We’ll do everything from check for spelling errors to provide copy revision suggestions. We’ll reorganize, suggest graphics and photos that better tell your story, and suggest revisions to the layout, theme and offerings.
We’ll organize my suggestions and send you an email summary of my review.
Bonus: Final review. You’ll take the next 24 hours to go through our suggestions, make the revisions you love and adjust what’s needed and then send it back for a final, bonus review. We’ll hop on a final 20-minute call to go over any new changes or adjustments you’ll need to present your perfect opportunity to the perfect marketing partner.

Ready to take your racing team or business to the next level, and quick? On-demand marketing workshops give you the insights you need, without a hefty price tag or a long wait-list. You can receive the knowledge you need, when you need it, delivered in a format that you can watch over and over again.
Currently, we offer two on-demand workshops: Crafting and Valuing the Perfect Offerings and Creating Effective Marketing Proposals.
Crafting and Valuing the Perfect Offerings Covers:
Creating (Winning) Offerings
We’ll touch on the basics of motorsports marketing offerings – think decals and trailer wraps – and the not-so-basic promotions that savvy marketing partners are looking for. From traditional to out-of-the-box, we’ll go over how to create an offering that marketing partners can utilize for a variety of functions, including brand recognition, sales leads, employee retention, and community relations. We’ll also talk about executing these offerings and incorporating others, from competitors to tracks, local businesses to media outlets.
Matching the Right Offer with the Right Sponsor
How do you know what to offer to whom? We’ll go over how to uncover clues as to what your potential partner is looking for in their future marketing programs, and how you can fill that gap with easy-to-understand custom offerings that provide return on investment.
What to Charge and Why
We’ll cover why the old model of pricing racing assets doesn’t work and how to shift your mindset to the new standard: calculating the value to a sponsor. We’ll go over how to find real metrics to equate value, no matter what industry your sponsor does business in. We’ll also talk about trade, product sponsorships and the value of a partnership to your own team, beyond the monetary incentives.

Creating Effective Marketing Proposals Covers:
The Pitch Process
To understand how to create an effective sponsorship proposal, you must first understand the pitch process and how your proposal materials fit in. We’ll touch briefly on this process and the steps you’ll need to understand to create the right materials at the right time.
Proposal Types (and How They Fit in the Pitch Process)
We’ll first touch on the primary purpose of your marketing proposal, and what the proposal should and shouldn’t be for the marketing partner. We’ll go over the DirtyMouth philosophy on what to include and what to leave out to capture a decision maker’s attention from the beginning, and keep them reading all the way to the agreement.
Critical Elements of the Proposal (with Examples)
Now that you know the theory, let’s talk about putting into practice. We’ll go over what you need to include in each of your three documents, what changes from pitch to pitch and what doesn’t, and how to structure them. We’ll talk about all of the information, including data and media that you already have access to, that you’ll need to gather and include, and what you may need to collect throughout the season if you haven’t already compiled it.
You’ll also receive handouts that include sample verbiage, elements and structure for each of the three documents that will provide a baseline that you can customize with your own offerings, graphics, media and data.
